Worst Destinations to Visit With Children

travel-junkies.com

There are so many countries around the globe that welcome families that we might forget that there are so not so great ones to visit with kids. It might be hard for you to maintain them there, and some local people might look weird at foreigner small children as well. So – get informed now! Not while you are abroad or just while having a weekend getaway, but now! You will have the best time possible with your kids for sure!

New Orleans

This city is perfect for couples or for people who love to travel and party all night long. And that is nothing wrong at all! But if you want to have a great time with your kids and also be able to rest – New Orleans is not a good place to be. You actually might be forced to explain a lot of stuff to your children. And if you consider them being a little bit too small for such things – don’t visit New Orleans. There are plenty other cities worth to visit.

Berkshires (New England)

If you wished to have a quiet and sophisticated vacations with your kids, that is never going to happen! Kids will get bored and soon start to nag because they don’t have anything else to do rather than go out to eat! So although Berkshires are a great destination if you want to have a charming weekend with your beloved one, traveling there with kids is not going to be relaxing at all. And honestly, it is usually full of romantic couples, so you might need to make some explanations to do as well.

Amalfi Coast (Italy)

Italy is an amazing country worth to visit for sure, but there are some places better to avoid while traveling with small children. The first thing that comes to my mind is Amalfi Coast. If you are traveling with a toddler, then a trip in there is going to be quite an aerobic challenge. Many of the towns there are built on cliffs with endless stairs and drops. So you spend much of your time carrying and chasing your toddler, and that is just exhausting. So – better keep this location a little bit for the future and visit in then your kids are tough enough to travel on their feet.

Tulum (Mexico)

Although Mexico is fun and hot, don’t take your kids to Tulum city around spring break. You will have to deal with masses of people who came there to party. And so your children won’t be able to enjoy a pool or other attractions because it will be full of drunken students! Better book a stay somewhere later, not on February and you might be able to enjoy your trip a little bit better.

Blackpool (England) and Magaluf (Majorca)

These two destinations are also to avoid during the particular time of the year. It is usually in the summer then it is full of drunken tourists who come there to party. As since you came here to explore and have a great time with kids – that is not going to be pleasant at all. But if you are ok not to travel there then the weather is the hottest, you can win a lot too! Blackpool is known for its long history as a traditional British seaside resort. So just pick your time wisely and you will have a great time for sure!

So now you know what to avoid and what better to plan to visit in the future. These all places are not worst at all, but it is just not suitable for small children.
